And now... the last one for this year. The Count of Montecrist, by Alexandre Dumas... a book with 1000 pages! O.O
So, let's see how I do with my prose at the re-editing of 'The Unwanted Death' and my latest project, Planetarium.
In one year... I hope, I can get them published. 'The Unwanted Death' might get published in my college *crosses fingers*. As for Planetarium, that one I might use in a literary contest.
Sci-Fi, Ancient Epics, Modern Epics, Sci-Fi-Thriller, Horror... Mmh, I'm very fond of these genres, and I've written in Fantasy Epic and Psychological Horror. Later, I'll give it a shot in first person POV.
However, Planetarium is my first attempt at a philosophical epic, in a similar vein to Paradise Lost and The Divine Comedy. Even so, I need a lot of research in astronomical matters, as well as some stuff for Doomsday stories (given the fact that the main antagonist is a super-massive black hole) and, of course, I need to identify which species have been wiped out in the five or six mass extinctions Earth has gone through.

By the way, and just as hobby, I'm trying to write in the format of epic poetry I've seen in so many stories I like (and have collected). 10 syllables, 8 lines. I guess the format is ABABABCC. The Lusiads, by Luis de Camoes is the one that got me hooked.
But, oh boy... am I really having trouble dealing with it! Yet, that's what I'm striving for. Of course, I think this kind of poetry might not be looked upon well nowadays, but this is just an interest of mine.
OK, not that much, since I've done great (in my opinion) with my poem '1348'. It's about the Black Plague, and Bocaccio's 'The Decameron' inspired me.
Dear Calliope, do never forsake me!

Latest Update:
Actually, with my class of Italian Literature, my book count will go up to 20. Gee, this is going to get tough for me, aside from the finals in the other classes. >.<

A little more than 1000 pageviews... Too bad I'm not much of graphic artist, XP.
But let's see what will I do in the future, and which is most important for me, in writing.
There has happened some issues here, but... well, being Epic, I must accept it.
Por cierto, nunca te vamos a olvidar Adriana. Por ti y Xóchitl, nos vamos a graduar.
